FASTag annual pass is not a magic bullet: With limited validity, non refundable deposit and other limitations, it is not meant for everyone

Starting August 15, 2025, a FASTag Annual Pass offers unlimited travel on national highways for private vehicles at ₹3,000. Valid for a year or 200 trips, it's non-transferable and tied to a specific vehicle. The pass applies only to National Highway and Expressway tolls; state highways are excluded.
