Life Insurance Corporation of India launched LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana. This scheme aims to empower women. It offers them a chance to earn monthly income. The scheme promotes insurance awareness. Women will be recruited and trained as LIC agents. They will receive stipends for three years based on performance. The first-year stipend is Rs 7,000 per month.
